Background

Bachelors in Electronics and Telecommunication embedded in me vast spectrum of computer networking and wireless concepts. Which I feel is much essential foundation for Cybersecurity. The urge of pursuing higher education evolved while working for a real estate company where I was managing their online portal. The whole business was based on residential/commercial properties to buy/sell/rent. Nothing seemed to be secured on World Wide Web and I wanted to make it secure. This was my first motivation towards cyber world and eventually, it grew with time.

Why Maryland?

I traveled 8,431 miles to pursue my higher education, leave my family and friends behind, and 24 years of my life to a completely different country where culture, language and lifestyle are all foreign. I felt I was reborn to see this new world around me. However, it was just a start. UMD gave me opportunities that I had never imagined.
